Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using Vannmex ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

These terms are between you and Vannmex ("we," "us," or "our").

What Vannmex Is

Vannmex is a local-first knowledge management application. It allows you to save, organize, and retrieve information entirely on your device. The App includes AI features that process your content locally.

Because your data never leaves your device, you are solely responsible for backing up and protecting your data.

Your Account

Vannmex does not require an account to use the core features. If you choose to subscribe to Plus or Pro tiers, your subscription is managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store according to their terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any access credentials.

Subscriptions and Payments

Vannmex offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers (Plus and Pro). Subscription pricing is displayed in the App and on our website.

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on your choice
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your device's app store settings
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies

We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect active subscription periods.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Use the App to store or process content that violates applicable laws
• Attempt to circumvent any subscription or payment mechanisms
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App

Your Data

You own all content you create or save in Vannmex. We claim no rights to your data and have no access to it—it exists only on your device.

Because we don't store your data, we cannot recover it if lost. You are responsible for:

• Backing up your device regularly
• Understanding that uninstalling the App will delete all saved data
• Ensuring you comply with any applicable laws regarding the content you save

Intellectual Property

Vannmex, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Vannmex and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes.

The content you save and create in the App remains yours.

Disclaimers and Limitations

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any data loss, as your data is stored locally on your device
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding any claim

Termination

You can stop using Vannmex at any time by uninstalling the App. Active subscriptions should be canceled through your app store to avoid future charges.

We may terminate or suspend access to the App if you violate these terms, though given our local-first architecture, the App will continue to function with existing features.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant changes, we'll provide notice through the App or our website.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution mechanisms available in your jurisdiction.
