Vannmex is built on a simple principle: your data belongs to you. This isn't just a tagline—it's the foundation of our product architecture. We've designed Vannmex so that we physically cannot access your personal data.

Data Storage: 100% Local

All content you save in Vannmex—including links, notes, tags, and any other personal data—is stored exclusively on your device. We do not operate servers that store your content. There is no cloud sync, no backup to our systems, and no way for us to access what you save.

This means if you delete the app or lose your device, your data goes with it. We recommend using your device's backup features to protect your data.

On-Device AI Processing

Our AI features run entirely on your device. Your content is never sent to external servers for processing. The intelligence that helps organize and surface your knowledge operates locally, ensuring your private thoughts remain private.

Website Analytics

For our website (vannmex.com), we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service. Plausible:

  • Does not use cookies
  • Does not collect personal data
  • Does not track users across websites
  • Is fully GDPR, CCPA, and PECR compliant

We collect only aggregate, anonymous data about page views and traffic sources to understand how visitors use our website.

Information We Collect

From the App: Nothing. We have no mechanism to collect data from the Vannmex app.

From Our Website: Anonymous, aggregate analytics via Plausible (page views, referral sources, country-level location, device type).

If You Contact Us: If you email us at info@vannmex.com, we'll have your email address and any information you choose to share. We use this only to respond to your inquiry.

If You Subscribe or Purchase: Payment processing is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. We may receive a transaction ID and purchase confirmation for support purposes.

Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. We never will.

The only third parties involved in our operations are:

  • Plausible Analytics - Privacy-focused website analytics
  • Apple App Store / Google Play Store - For app distribution and payment processing
  • Vercel - Website hosting

Your Rights

Since we don't collect your personal data, there's nothing to request, correct, or delete from our systems. Your data lives on your device, under your control.
